Re: Kevin Nolan
Think it was Frank McAvennie who said that Billy Bonds told him that even if you are having a bad game run about a lot, put effort in, close people down and try and make tackles (something along those lines) which is why I have a little sympathy or players like Noble and Jarvis. I really don't think you can blame those two for not trying.

Whereas the likes of Nolan and Maiga just don't seem to bother, just strolling around with seemingly zero effort put in and hence why I have zero sympathy with them.

At least if a team is on the break Noble chases, he probably looks like he is going backwards but at least he chases whereas you constantly see old Kev walking back no effort at all.

Instead of crying and expecting eternal gratitude the cunt should get fit and learn to adapt his game.

Re: Kevin Nolan
the cunt's legs have gone. either that or the refuelling stories are true. whatever the truth is, the cunt is no longer good enough to start in the team and I haven't an ounce of sympathy with the cunt. the sooner we move him on the better

"New season, new manager, give the bloke a chance and a clean slate. "

Typical from the down under posters.

Why should I give Nolan another chance when I have just spend hundreds of pounds watching him try not an inch is two games against a poor team?

His performances were a fucking disgrace, mind he wasn't the only one.

I don't actually mind if the player isn't the best as long as they give their all and try, Nolan didn't, Amalfitano didn't, Maiga didn't and can all do one.

And as I said earlier, the Wafer squad had to be registered the day before the window opened, so he had very little choice. When the full options are available dont I dont expect to see too much of him.

Clearly on his way out

Re: Kevin Nolan
Bilic has picked him every time he had to.
Loads of players out, needed experienced players, also being club captain and on high wages, he was hard let out.

Now he has experienced his limitations, and would at best reach the bench.

Not worried at all!

Bilic has picked him every time he can. I'm not too confident that he won't pick him again. He seems a bit weak at the moment.

Re: Kevin Nolan
I can promise you all, when the squad is fully fit and all are available, Nolan will be miles away from the starting XI.
And, with him demanding to start, he will be off before the transfer window is shut.

Willtell 1:05 Sun Jul 26
Re: Kevin Nolan
I think everyone is agreed on that. It's just that it might have to wait until BFS gets another job...

In the meantime I'll be very disappointed if Bilic plays him again. It will shake my confidence in Bilic's ability to recognise where a player makes a negative contribution.

Even if we give him away it frees up cash (ffp) and a squad place

Re: Kevin Nolan
He's simply not good enough to play premier league football any more.

Every time he steps on pitch it hampers the entire team.

Please please get rid

Charoo - there you go.

totally agree.

no wonder he loves the club.

Charoo 11:29 Sun Jul 26
Re: Kevin Nolan
Let him stay around and run down his contract on 55k a week and shake his hand and let him go on a free.

I've read some utter shit on this site but that tops it. So we should shell out the best part of £3m quid for a player who is completely incompetent at his job and has been for the last 2 seasons.

I've never rated him, even when he did pop up with the odd goal - anyone with limited ability like his who thinks its ok to go out on the piss all the time while being in his incredible lucky position is a complete cunt in my eyes.

As for the fact "he loves the club" I bet he fucking does, bet he can't believe his luck I'd love a company if they gave me 50 grand a year to be utter horseshit at my job let alone a week.

For the record I never boo at games or players but It's hard when you're shelling out every week to see that shower!

I'm sure he's a great lad and good to have a beer with, but please please go back to Bolton.

Re: Kevin Nolan
willtell, if it was you or me playing for west ham and being shit, we would stop. in front of 30.000???

6 hours away sounds like a challenge. don't write things like that. in reality I will fuck you up if you ever make a threat like that to me in face.

fair enough we have different opinions. I think Nolan is a nice person but for my team to progress, he has to go.

how can I have a conversation with you when my blood is boiling. fucking threaten me. fucking do it again. I dare you.

ok back to being nice, If we notice his legs have gone, why has he not? and if he has why is he still stealing a living? nobody is booing him cos they are a cunt, they are doing it cos they are paying a lot of money and watching 10 men vs 11 week in week out. I don't wish any bad to Nolan but please fuck off

Eerie Descent 11:20 Sun Jul 26
Re: Kevin Nolan
I wouldn't boo him, not now I'm an adult, but the man is damaging to the team when he plays, he is absolutely shot, so if it makes him leave quicker, I'm all for it.

Willtell 11:09 Sun Jul 26
Re: Kevin Nolan
Thanks peroni - I'm only 6 hours drive from Cannes but never mind.

Hairy, Not once have I said I supported Nolan. We don't need to boo our captain just because the manager picks him. That is not supporting him.

HairySpotter 11:05 Sun Jul 26
Re: Kevin Nolan
but if he looks big, drop him off ;-)

HairySpotter 11:04 Sun Jul 26
Re: Kevin Nolan
haha! instigator! bring him down............... its so boring to write threats.
